Glee Gives Me Goosebumps
Well, I am officially a Gleek and I am proud of it!!! For those of you who do not know what that is – I am hooked onto a show called Glee where teenagers sing their hearts out. What can I say – they way they sing, the songs they sing, the choreography, everything – it just gives me goosebumps. And there aren’t that many things in life that do that, so I appreciate it when I find something good.

I want to ride my bicycle, I want to ride my biiiiike
Lately the adventurer in me has been shouting for some attention so I decided to do something interesting and different this weekend. I found a great deal for a cycling tour of Belfast and off we went all enthusiastic and excited (some more than others). I hadn’t been on a bicycle for a long time but it all came back very fast – it was like riding a bike :D
Now imagine the following picture: six people on bikes following our guide like a flock of small geese following their momma. The third little goose (me, me, me!!!) with a huge smile on its face and shouting from time to time: “Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! Yeeeeeeeyyy!!! Yooohooooooooooooo!!!” The time when I wasn’t smiling I was panting heavily with my tongue sticking out from my mouth, cheating by pushing my bike up a hill (a huuuuge one!), fighting off unwelcome flies from flying in my face/mouth/ear and brushing off the sweat.
You know, they say that when you go back to your parents’ house you turn into a child again behaving like a teenager but for me I think this happens when I get on a bike. Go figure!

What NOT to do when near birds
I recently learned that Rosskata hates all birds flying above his head and especially those huge seagulls here. Every time he spots one flying above him he gets nervous and starts jumping around in the hope of avoiding it pooping on his head/shoulder/shoe. It is just hilarious to see him walk around a lamp post when there is a seagull perched on it!
Anyway, about two weeks ago we decided to rummage through a carboot sale nearby (which we unfortunately couldn't do as it was closed). As we live on the sea, seagulls are everywhere and most often than not in big flocks. As we were walking down the street a huge flock of seagulls started flying above us and i made a huge mistake of lifting my head and watching them... with my mouth wide open! It took me about 1 minute to realize what i was doing and i snapped it shut. And i tell you, i did that just in the nick of time as a couple of seconds later one of the birds decided our heads were as good as place as any and bombarded us!
That was sooooo close!
